Setup
Creation
You need to have 1000 Overall XP before you can create a department.
Once you reached 1000 XP, head to a Station Computer, [C] > Create Department > Follow the prompts (name, description, status, type)
- Make sure you update the Garage Information for your department creation/changes to take effect.
If you want to change the Name, Description, Status or Type, go to Department Management > Manage
Make sure you create a Join Rank that people will automatically have once they join!
- Department Management > Manage Ranks > Create Rank
- Department Management > Manage > Set Join Rank
Ranks
Department Management > Manage Ranks > Create Rank > Follow Prompts

All your ranks will be listed in Department Management > Department Ranks, which is also where you will see the Rank ID.
To add a rank tag, go to Manage Ranks > Edit Rank Tag, enter the Rank ID and your rank tag (keep it short). Rank tags are shown in any dispatch message. (Eg. Officer Smith [LSPD-01] has arrived on scene!)

There are various Weapon/Garage upgrades that you can unlock by buying them with your department funds.
