Running a Department

Info: All Department Management Options are being done at a Station Computer!

Setup

Creation

You need to have 1000 Overall XP before you can create a department.

Once you reached 1000 XP, head to a Station Computer, [C] > Create Department > Follow the prompts (name, description, status, type)

Make sure you update the Garage Information for your department creation/changes to take effect.

If you want to change the Name, Description, Status or Type, go to Department Management > Manage

Make sure you create a Join Rank that people will automatically have once they join!

Ranks

Department Management > Manage Ranks > Create Rank > Follow Prompts

Prompts
Name	Description
Name	The Rank Name
Priority	Has no functionality at the moment
XP Requirement	Has no functionality at the moment

All your ranks will be listed in Department Management > Department Ranks, which is also where you will see the Rank ID.

To add a rank tag, go to Manage Ranks > Edit Rank Tag, enter the Rank ID and your rank tag (keep it short). Rank tags are shown in any dispatch message. (Eg. Officer Smith [LSPD-01] has arrived on scene!)

Discord Logs

Create a Webhook on your personal Discord Server and copy the link. Example: https://discord.com/api/webhooks/1024009524165759087/5-0O_PAabZcEk6WY2UX3hLh_dujoF2RiGNRRCdpmbwHeft0p8Ex2MDD52yj6892-sMm
After copying, join Police World on FIveM, press F8 and enter webkey {your webhook}. Example: webkey https://discord.com/api/webhooks/1024009524165759087/50O_PAabZcEk6WY 2UX3hLh_dujoF2RiGNRRCdpmbwHeft0p8Ex2MDD52yj6892-sMm
Now go to Department Management > Manage Webhooks be sure to Update Information!
Press Save Arrest Webhook. The webhook you entered into F8 earlier will now send arrest notifications. You can have different webhooks for Arrest/Impound/Ticket, but you can also just have all of them on the same webhook.
Lastly, go to Manage Ranks > Update Rank This will update the rank with the correct webhook updates. You need to do this for ALL of your ranks.

Upgrades

There are various Weapon/Garage upgrades that you can unlock by buying them with your department funds.

Maintaining the Department

Finances

You need to earn money to be able to unlock upgrades and improve your department. The only way to get money is by Department Grants.

There are normal grants and special grants and the grants will change with every Election, which is 5h. The amount of money within the grants depend on the current crime level. The higher the more are the grants.

Special	5000 DP
Both	7500 DP

DP are Department Points which is the XP that you and your employees gain.

In short: You need to grind 2500 XP to get the Normal Grant, 5000 XP to get the Special Grant and 7500 XP to get both grants.

Members

If your department is public, any player can join your department. If you have a private department, you decide who joins it and you manually hire them. Department Manegement > Manage Officers > Hire > their Badge ID

To promote your officers, you go to Manage Officers > Promote > their Bagde ID > new Rank ID
