General Information

What are Businesses?

Businesses can be used to make money, either by working for them or owning them.
- You can deliver cargo to other players businesses in the trucking job, train job, pilot job and deepsea port trading but you can also buy a business, manage it, and have other players deliver freight/fuel/cars for your business and make money from the CEO Profits.

Types of Businesses

All types of Businesses work the same way as explained in #Information!!

These restrictions are ignored once your business reaches popularity 10!

Freight Business

To deliver for Freight Businesses, you need to own:
- Trucking License II (2) +
- Any Freight Trailer

Freight Businesses are all the Businesses, excluded the below.

Fuel Business

To deliver for Fuel Businesses, you need to own:
- Fuel Tanker Trailer
- Trucking License II (2) +
Fuel Businesses are all the Fuel Station Businesses.

Vehicle Business

To deliver for Vehicle Businesses, you need to own:
- Car Carrier Trailer
- Trucking License II (2) +
Vehicle Businesses are all the Car Dealership Businesses.

Pilot Business

To deliver for Pilot Businesses, you need to own:
- a plane that can carry cargo
- Trucking License II (2) +
Pilot Businesses are all the Airport Businesses (LSIA,PIA,etc.).

You need to at least own:

Business License (10MIL in the Store)

How to buy a Business

Before you can buy a Business, you will need to buy a Business License from the Store.

First, go to the Business you want to buy and look up its ID in F5 - Company Information - Business For Sale
Once at the Business, go near the Business building and head to F5 - Company Information - Purchase Business and Enter the ID you remembered earlier.
You now own a Business!

How to keep a Business running

You now have a new tab in F5 - Company Information, called "Manage Business". This is the place where you can manage all kinds of things for you business. The first thing you need to do is open your Business!

Head to Company Information - Manage Business - Business Options and select "Set store status open/closed", enter your Business ID and then either open or closed
Basically to keep your Business running, you need to have stock, either in storage or on the shelfs of your store. If there is no stock on the shelfs you will not make any money.
To keep stock in storage and/or on shelfs you need to either #Put Up Orders or #Restock by Yourself.

Put Up Orders

First, you need to set a payment for your workers!
- Navigate to F5 - Company Information - Manage Business - Business Options, there select "Set Comission", enter your Business ID and then the PPL (Pay Per Load) Money Amount. (This is how much bonus money players get for dropping off one cargo.)
- You need to set the comission BEFORE you Create a marketplace request!!
Now you need to create the order on the marketplace.
- Navigate to Business Options again, then "Create marketplace request", enter you Business ID and then how many deliveries your order should have.
Lastly, you need to decide wether you want to have the listing private, so only you can complete it or if you want to have it public, so everyone and yourself can complete it.
- Navigate to Business Options once again, then Set listing to public/private, enter you Business ID and then either "public" or "private".

Example: You set comission to 10.000$, then you set the marketplace request to 20 and the status to public. For this example, the retail price will be 900$ This means if another player is doing the order for you, you will pay them $218'000 out of your BUSINESS VAULT. (because ($10.000 + $900) * 20 orders)
- You might not be able to pay other players though, so you need to be able to restock it yourself too. #Restock by Yourself
- If you do decide to restock by yourself, you will still need to pay 18.000$ from the business vault. (because $900 * 20 orders)

Now if you set it to public, there will be a new listing in "View Public Business Marketplace" for your business. Other players can then start working for you until the order is completed.

This listing will disappear from the list after 5 days of inactivity from your side.

Restock by Yourself

Basically you need to create a marketplace request again, comission doesn't matter if you're making the request private. It does matter if you have it public though!

You need to pick your cargo up, and then sign up to work for your own Business (#Working for a Business)

Make sure to ALWAYS have some stock in storage! If you don't have any stock your business wont make any money and will go bankrupt!

Hiring Staff

There are some Staff Members you can hire for your business!
- Navigate to Company Information - Manage Business - Hire Staff
- Here you can select which staff you want to buy. The money is taken out of the BUSINESS VAULT, not your own pocket.
- Staff Members also cost to maintain, see "Staff Bills" in the stats.

Staff	Price	Description
Manager	1'000'000$ x Popularity	A Manager will provide a bonus on money that goes into the vault. They will also slightly increase the amount an employee can stock
Security	1'000'000$ x Popularity	Security Guards will help you recover stolen goods from your store. They will also increase the defense rating of your Business
Employee	60'000$ x Popularity	Employees will move stock from storage to the shop shelfs. The more employees you have the faster they will move

Loyal Driver Bonuses

An employee can gain those bonuses by delivering 500+ orders for your business.
- Bonus Trucking and Knowledge XP for the emplyoee
- Up to $20mil pay per load.
You, as the owner, can set a maximum comission of $20mil.
- Every employee below 500 orders will get $100k ppl and all above 500 orders will get the full amount that you set.

Other Costs

Power Bill

The power bill only costs when the business is open.

The more staff you have, the more you have to pay them salary.

Upgrading your Business

You can upgrade your Business to incrase the rate of your shelf stock being sold!

Every upgrade of your Business will cost 1'000'000$ out of the Business Vault.
- Navigate to Company Information - Manage Business - Upgrade Business and enter your Business ID to upgrade the business.
What an Upgrade will do is incrase the Popularity of your Business, which incrases the Customers that buy from your store.
- Every Upgrade will incrase the Popularity by ONE.

Selling your Business

In case you want to sell your Business, you need to have MORE Money in your Business Vault than in Dept.

Discord Webhook

You can set up a Discord Webhook to receive Updates about your business such as;
- 30 Min Business Report
- Order Dropoffs
- Stock Market Events
- Random NPC Events

Setting up the Webhook on Discord

Create a channel in your PRIVATE Discord Server.
Open Channel Settings and head to "Integrations" and then "Webhooks"
Press "New Webhook", select a picture and a name (Optional).
Now press "Copy Webhook URL" and paste it somewhere so you can see the link.

Entering the Webhook into the LifeV Database

You need to copy a PART of the webhook link.
- You only need the stuff after "/webhooks/"
- It should look something like this now: 465874654388133949461/7rjFq7XtkPDOBjs7kDt7lZ4I_OTD4oHm_d7G0_B6rITvnj2xti9L7X60XWtzRPsl6dyg
Now join LifeV and open the FiveM console by pressing F8.
Then take the part of the webhook and enter "webkey [PART of your webhook]" into the console.
- Example: "webkey 465874654388133949461/7rjFq7XtkPDOBjs7kDt7lZ4I_OTD4oHm_d7G0_B6rITvnj2xti9L7X60XWtzRPsl6dyg"
Lastly, head to Company Information - Manage Business - Save Webhook
- To test if your webhook works, open or close your store!

F5 Menu Options

Option	Description

Set GPS to Business	Get a GPS Market to your Business.
Collect Profits	Collect the CEO Profits of your Business.
Save Webhook	Save a Discord Webhook for frequent Updates about your Business. #Discord Webhook
File for BANKRUPTCY	You can file for bankruptcy. This will add $10mil to your business vault and increase the dept.
DOWNGRADE Popularity	You can downgrade the business level for a 10% refund ($100k) to your vault.

Business Options

Option	Description
Set store status open/closed	Open or close your store.
Set CEO Message	Set a Message that will display everytime a player has dropped off a delivery for your business.
Set Comission	Set the bonus money players will get for completing your requested order.
Create marketplace request	Create the marketplace request so other players can start working for you. Set the Comission FIRST!
Set listing to public/private	Set your marketplace listing to public or private.
CANCEL marketplace request for 100'000$	Cancel your current marketplace listing for a price of 100'000$ out of the Business Vault

Notes

You need to be in/near your Business for any Management Options to work.
You get TAXED by the City Tax when Collecting CEO Profits or Selling the Business!
