Preparation

  • Set your ALPR keybind via ESC > Settings > Key Bindings > FiveM > Police:ALPR Toggle
    • This allows you to turn on the Automatic License Plate Reader (ALPR) to start traffic stops.

Initiating

  • To start a Traffic Stop, drive up behind an NPC car and press [J] to initiate the traffic stop.
    • It will say "Traffic Stop initiated" or "You cannot stop this vehicle. They did nothing wrong!"
    • If it says "Traffic Stop initiated", you can continue on with the stop. If it doesn't, you have to find a different vehicle to pull over.
  • Best way to go about it is to get behind a vehicle, use your Plate Reader (ALPR) and look at the NPC's flags, which will determine if you can pull them over or not.

Questions

  • Ask for Drivers License?
  • Ask if they had anything to drink?
  • Do you have anything illegal?
  • Please enter/exit the vehicle for me?
