Requirements

Fishing with a Rod

• You don't need anything to get started!
• A boat from the boat category is optional and nice to have.

Deep Sea Fishing

• Fishing License (100,000 Knowledge)
• Fishing Experience 100,000
• Fishing Boat ($500,000)
  • Note: Luxury Yachts work as well

Getting Started Fishing with a Rod

Fishing from the shore

1. Go on duty as "Fisher"
   1. To join the job press F5 - Jobs - Job Information - Fisher
   2. Now you're ready to work!
2. Head to a job location and start the job
   1. Go onto a Pier or a Beach or near any kind of water.
   2. Press F5 - Jobs - Job Information - Use Fishing Rod
   3. Now a minigame will pop up. Try to keep the white square on top of the fish to catch fish by tapping/holding Left mouse button / Arrowkey UP / SpaceBar!
3. Selling Fish
   1. To check which Fish are able to be sold, press F5 - Jobs - Job Information - Check Fish Sale Prices
   2. To check how many Fish you have, press F5 - Jobs - Job Inventory - Fishing Bag
   3. And last, to sell, press Sell Fish in Job Information.

Fishing with a rod from a boat

• You can also fish from your friend's boat!

1. Buy a job vehicle and spawn it (not FREE)
   1. For beginners its the "Dinghy" ($10.500). To buy it, open the PDA with the HOME key and head to the Store.
   2. To spawn your boat, head to the Yacht Club near Pier at the Beach and open the PDA and request it from the Garage.
   3. Now you can drive anywhere less than 15m deep for the first rod.

Getting Started with DeepSea Fishing

1. Go on duty as "Fisher"
   1. To join the job press F5 - Jobs - Job Information - Fisher (You need this to get depth of water/anchoring boat)
2. Buy a job vehicle and spawn it (not FREE)
   1. For beginners its the "Fishing Boat". To buy it, open the PDA with the HOME key and head to the Store.
   2. To spawn your boat, head to the Yacht Club near Pier at the Beach and open the PDA and request it from the Garage.
   3. Now you can drive anywhere that in deep sea 2,500m+ use the [F5 -> Job Information ->Get Current Depth) this will tell you if you are in shallow or DeepSea and use the Boat Anchor (if you want to).
3. Getting nets out
   1. Now your out in Deep Sea
   2. Go to lower your nets F5 - Forage - DeepSea Fishing Options- Raise/Lower Nets

Crafting from your Deepsea Fish

• Press F5 - Forage - DeepSea Fishing Options - Butcher Fish and enter the amount of Fish you want to craft into Chopped Up Fish.
  • Update Forage Information first!
  • Requires Level 10 Fishing Nets

• The Craft Service Price is shown in the same menu and it will change every hour.

Hatchet Durability

• When you reach 0 durability you will not be able to collect logs
  • F5 - DeepSea Fishing Options- Lumber Options - Repair Fishing Nets for $50,000

Selling your DeepSea Fish & Chopped Up Fish

• Drive in any vehicle to the Fish Buyer in South MOUNT CHILIAD (same icon as the Lumber Zone)
• Park it near the point and get out.
• Press F5 - Forage - Deepsea Fishing Options - Sell Deepsea Fish (for Deepsea Fish) / Sell Chopped Up Fish and enter the amount of DeepSea Fish/ Chopped Up Fish you want to sell.
  • Update Forage Information first!

• The Service Price is shown in the same menu and it will change every hour.

Fishing Nets Upgrades

Where to Upgrade?

• You can upgrade your hatchet in F5 - Forage - Lumber Options - Upgrade Hatchet
  • Update Forage Information to see the Hatchet Upgrade Price!

What does it do?

• Fishing Nets upgrades will only increase the yield and the price to upgrade scales with every upgrade.
• Hatchet level 10 unlocks Butcher Fish which, Craft DeepSea Fish 1 log = 2 Chopped Up Fish with scaling service fee
