Getting Started | Player vs Environment

Go on duty as "Police Officer"

  • Navigate to M - Jobs - Police Officer and press ENTER to join the Police Job.
  • If you want to do AI Missions in Passive Mode, you need to enter the Police Job in F5 - Jobs - Police Officer!
    • After going on duty through F5, you will need to wait a short time for the Job to update. If it doesn't update, go on duty again.

Purchase a Vehicle

  • You can use any vehicle for Police Officer, preferably a police car though.
  • Open the PDA by pressing the HOME key
  • Navigate to the Store and purchase a vehicle.

Spawn your Vehicle

  • Navigate to the Garage in the PDA, you'll see your vehicle and you can Request it.

Traffic Stops

Set necessary Keybinds

  • You need to set two keybinds in order to do AI Traffic Stops. Navigate to GTA Settings - Keybinds - FiveM and search for the following keybindings:
    • POLICE: ALPR Keybind
    • POLICE: Traffic Stop Keybind
  • Now set those two options to any key you want. Preferably keys that are not used by anything else yet.

Enable Plate Reader (ALPR)

  • Press the key you bound for POLICE: ALPR Keybind, which will enable the Automatic License Plate Reader.
  • Now the car you are driving will always scan the license of the vehicle infront of you and tell you various information about the car/driver.

Initiate Traffic Stop

  • You need to have a reason to stop the vehicle infront of you.
    • The License Plate Reader will tell you if the driver is wanted or if something is wrong with the vehicle.
    • For Example: If the Plate Reader tells you that the driver is CLEAN but the license is EXPIRED, you can proceed to stop the vehicle.
  • To do that, you press the key you set for POLICE: Traffic Stop Keybind and then enable your emergency lights to initiate.
    • The car you stopped, either stops, or starts running from you.

Do the Traffic Stop

  • Your main Traffic Stop menu will be F5 - Police:Tools, which has various options you can use.
    • Ask for ID, Run ID, Bac Test, Warn, Ticket, Detain, Handcuff, Detain in Vehicle, Frisk, Grab, Tow Vehicle, Search Vehicle, Impound Vehicle, Arrest, Release
  • To complete a Traffic Stop, you need to find out what the stopped person has done wrong.
    • You can also pull over cars that are Clean, you don't have to search for Wanted NPC to pull over!

Reasons to Arrest

  • BAC Test Failed
  • Wanted Suspect
  • Possession of Illegal Items
  • Fleeing

Reasons to Ticket

  • 1+ Unpaid Tickets
  • Fake ID
  • Suspended License
  • Expired Insurance
  • anything else that doesn't look right...

Reasons to Impound

  • BAC Test Failed
  • Fake ID
  • Suspended License
  • Possession of Illegal Items
  • Fleeing

Arresting NPC

  • If any of the #Reasons to Arrest are true, you detain and arrest the suspect:
    • To detain you need to select Detain, and to get them into your vehicle, you select Detain in Vehicle.
    • Now to arrest them, drive to a PD Jail ... , get them out of the car with Detain, Grab, walk as near as you can to the green jail blip, select Grab again and then select Arrest.

Callouts

Requirements

  • You need to be in a Departement.
  • You need to be Rank 2 in a Departement. (450 Departement XP)

Set necessary Keybinds

  • You need to set two keybinds in order to do AI Callouts. Navigate to GTA Settings - Keybinds - FiveM and search for the following keybindings:
    • POLICE:Accept Callout
    • POLICE:Deny Callout
  • Now set those two options to any key you want. Preferably keys that are not used by anything else yet.

Toggle Callouts

  • While on duty, head to F5 - Police:Tools - Options - Toggle AI Callouts
    • Now you are able to receive Callouts!

Accept and Complete Callouts

  • You will get a Notification to accept a callout on the top left of your screen.
  • Accept or Deny it with the Keybind you set earlier!
    • There is a possibility that another Officer takes the call before you do, it will give you a notification if this happens.
  • Note: If you die on a callout, it will cancel!

"Callout Type 1"

  • Drive to the yellow marker on your map and enter the yellow circle area.
    • There will spawn criminal NPC that will shoot you, so be careful where you park your vehicle!
  • Your Goal: Kill all the NPC that are marked with a red blip on the map.
  • Once you killed all NPC, there will be a "Code 4" Dispatch Message, which means you completed the callout.

Police Equipment

Outfits / Clothes

  • You can put on preset outfits in the EUP Menu. You will find it in F5 - My Profile - EUP Menu
    • EUP Outfits will be reset everytime you leave the server.
  • You can also make your custom outfit in M - Customize Ped, which will stay even when you leave the server.
    • Custom Outfits can always be changed up to your liking.

Weapons

  • Important: Weapons have INFINITE ammunition, you have to reload manually by pressing R!

Requirements

  • There is NO requirements for the Police Job.
