Requirements

  • Van (Box Truck) or Semi Cab w/ Trailer
  • Vehicle must be from your own garage, they can be purchased on the store.
  • Vans and Trailers are spawned at the Los Santos Logistics, shown by a pink trailer icon on the map.
    • You can easily access this from the GPS Options in the Interaction Menu [Default: M]

Getting Started

Go on duty as "Trucker"

  • Head to F5 - City Jobs - Job Information - Trucker
    • Menu might take abit to update.
  • You can now click Toggle Duty in the same place

Purchase and spawn your job vehicle

  • Open the PDA by pressing the HOME key
  • Once the PDA is open, navigate to the Store and purchase the FREE Speedo in the Trucking Category.
  • In the PDA navigate to the Garage, you'll see your vehicle and you can Request it.

Loading your Van (Box Truck)

  • Press F5 - Jobs - Job Information - Set warehouse GPS and drive to the blue waypoint.
    • Note: For Trailers; Make sure your trailer is attached before you do this, else it will send you to amazon!
  • Once you have arrived at the location, press E inside (Box Trucks only) or get out of the vehicle and press E, this should start loading your vehicle. (You can load twice!)
  • When the cargo has finished loading, you'll see a GPS route to your delivery location.
  • Toggle Trucking HUD option allows you to see trucking info, such as cargo left, when your inside the cab

Delivering Cargo

  • Drive to the location, press E inside (Box Trucks/Semi Cab w/ Trailer) or step out of the vehicle and press E, this will start unloading the cargo
  • Congratulations, you have completed your first delivery of many, welcome to the Los Santos Logistical Backbone.

Trucking for Businesses

  • You can work for other players' Businesses as a Trucker!
    • You will need the Trucking License II (2) to work for the Businesses.
    • You will get a bonus pay, set by the Business Owner for every delivery. (up to $100'000!!)
  • Check the Business Guide for detailed information.
    • Semi-Trucks W/Trailers now have a chance to drop off 2-4 Business Freight per stop!

Other Features

  • Convoy Mode - This allows you do to routes in and order vs random locations ( so if you wanted to you could do the same deliveries with a friend)
    • Note: You must enable it before loading your Truck/Trailer. Each Time you restock your truck it restarts the route to start.

Call AI Mechanic Features

  • Van (Box Truck) and Semi-Cab you can do Call AI Mechanic inside your vehicle or outside facing it.
